After leaving school, I worked in a drawing office and was also performing as a professional musician. In 1983, my graphic design ambitions were put on hold when my brother and I signed a recording contract with EMI (Parlophone). The following 11 years saw us recording and touring and releasing 11 singles & 4 albums, One of the Albums, 'Twopence To Cross The Mersey' featured songs based on a book by author Helen Forrester and during a chance meeting with Helen, the idea of a stage musical was born and I had the opportunity to re-kindle my love of graphic design.
"In 2004, I became Graphic Designer for the Musical version of Twopence To Cross The Mersey.
Doe to its success I spent the next five years working as part of the production team on 'Twopence' and was responsible for all its graphic design & artwork requirements including: Flyers, Posters, Brochures, Merchandise Branding, Roller Banners, Billboards, Multimedia Promotional films & Slideshows and press advertising.
In 2013, I setup Pulsart Creative Design to offer graphic design services to the general public. I have provided work for Companies, Hotels, Shops, Salons, Theatres, Promoters and Individuals"... Alan Fennah.
